LIVE (Online) TaijiFit Instructor Basic Training

How This Works

Welcome to the LIVE Online TaijiFit Instructor Basic Training portal. Through this page, you will be able to attend a live training with David-Dorian Ross from the comfort of your own home or studio. This is a fully interactive session, and you will be able to see and hear David-Dorian - and the other students as well. In fact, you'll be able to see and hear each other just like you would in the in-person workshop. You can ask questions, practice your cueing and work with the other students in small groups - all via real-time LIVE streaming.

We are using this remote classroom because we didn't enroll the minimum number of participants for David-Dorian to travel to your area, or because of severe weather (or some other unforeseen situation). But our cancellation policy is that when this happens we still won't cancel the training, we'll simply offer it in this format. BUT - don't imagine this as a "second-best" alternative. Over the past five years, we've been the pioneers in offering online interactive training, and more than 1000 individual instructors have been trained and certified using this method.

What You'll Need

1. First things first, you need to make sure you have downloaded the Zoom app. You've probably already done this so that you could meet with your TaijiFit mentor, but just in case you haven't got it yet go to to get the app. It's free, and takes only a minute to download and set up.

2. Test out the app, and make sure that your camera and internal microphone are working properly. By the way, you can actually do this from any device - even your smart phone. But we recommend you use something with a large screen - even using your TV screen if you have a Roku or Apple TV. We'll be doing a fair amount of movement, so you'll want to be able to have space to move around it, and a place to put the monitor so you can see everyone while we're doing the movement portion.

3. You'll of course want to be in a room that is somewhat quiet or semi-private - but make sure that it has a good Wifi signal!

4. Finally, we recommend you bring a notebook and pen - just as you would if you were coming to the in-person seminar.

Even though the venue has moved, we'll be using the same schedule. We'll commence at 9am YOUR LOCAL TIME. There will be breaks throughout the day, as well as a lunch break. I plan on opening the virtual doors at least 15 minutes early so you can come and get signed in. Just return to this page, and use the big red button above to log in.
